CBSMUN began as a project of our sister organization, CBS United Nations (CBSUN), the United Nations organization exclusively for students at Copenhagen Business School. CBSUN’s mission is to equip CBS students with a deep understanding of global issues and their relevance to business and prepare them for international Model United Nations conferences. Through CBSUN’s on-campus events like hands-on MUN preparation sessions and speaker events and off-campus events visiting embassies and NGOs, students gain valuable insights into diplomacy and global topics. Today, CBSUN continues to support CBSMUN, inspiring our shared mission of connecting CBS students with global perspectives through debate and diplomacy.
The CBSUN Academy is an exclusive on-campus training program designed to prepare CBS students in the CBSUN delegation for each conference they attend, including CBSMUN! Starting in February during the spring term, the Academy offers in-person workshops and sessions at CBS to develop the skills needed to excel in MUN debates and diplomacy. Only current CBS students can join, and interested students should first apply to CBSMUN, after which additional details about the Academy will be shared via email. Stay tuned for more information about this valuable opportunity for CBS students!
Attendees of the CBSUN Academy will enjoy a 15€ reimbursement to CBSMUN. We will be reaching out to all CBS delegate applicants via email, informing them further about the specifics to join the delegation and the academy. So keep an eye out for that!
CBS United Nations is the United Nations organization at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. The key purpose of CBS United Nations is to gain a deeper understanding of global issues and their implications for the ongoing development of the global political economy. This is achieved through participation in UN activities in Copenhagen, and Model United Nations (MUN) conferences all around world.
