Model United Nations is a simulation of the real UN in which students assume the role of a diplomat, represent a country and engage in debate on a relevant topic.
It is the annual university-level MUN conference hosted at Copenhagen Business School in central Copenhagen in the spring. With 8 committees and 200 delegates, it is the premier Nordic university level MUN conference. CBSMUN is the ideal conference for delegates wanting high quality academics, fun socials, and a taste of the Nordics.
Yes! We want to share the joy of MUN and are used to having first-time delegates. Our team will do their utmost to ensure you get a great first MUN experience. They are trained to help you and there will be plenty of resources and guidance available both before and during CBSMUN.
CBSMUN 2026 will happen 12.-15. March 2026.
Chair applications will happen August 24. to September 14.
Delegate applications are expected to open November 1. and run until February 1.
Applications are handled through mymun.
Please apply there when applications open in late fall.
Applications are yet to open for CBSMUN 2026. Once open, they will be open until 1. of February. However, our last edition sold out fast, so we recommend applying and paying as soon as possible when applications open up to secure your spot.
CBSMUN 2025 received incredibly high interest and unfortunately did not have enough space for all applicants. The high level of interest and our high academic rigor means the application is more important than ever. Participants are expected to fill out their application properly, in English, and without the use of AI.
Once you are accepted on mymun and have paid the delegate fee, you have secured a spot and will receive an allocation as soon as possible. We allocate in waves.
The next allocation wave will announced at a later time.
Allocations are based on your application, skill level, and preferences. We put great effort into allocations to ensure all delegates have the best experience possible.
Therefore, it is important to fill out the application with care and to be realistic about your skill level when selecting your preferences.
We are a university-level conference open to all students aged 18 to 27 and who have graduated high school.
For enrolled university students, 27+ exemptions may be granted. Please reach out to info@cbsmun.dk
To maintain the academic integrity of CBSMUN, we reserve the right to reject applicants who do not showcase sufficient English skills in their application.
Applicants need to demonstrate a high level of English or in terms of the CEFR framework, at least level B2/C1
Yes! You can sign up as a delegation on mymun. Each delegate still has to apply individually. The head delegate or faculty advisor should apply first to start the delegation and then invite the rest of the delegation.
Please read more on sending a delegation in the FAQ section below.
Your head delegate or faculty advisor should have a link to your delegation. Otherwise, feel free to reach out to us!
Once you have been accepted to the conference and have paid the delegate fee, we will send you a visa invitation letter. Please note that we cannot assist with the visa application process itself, and it is the participant’s responsibility to apply for and secure the visa in time.
In the event that your visa is not approved, we will refund your delegate fee accordingly.
If you are planning a delegation, please let us know as soon as possible at info@cbsmun.dk so we can better help and plan accordingly. Especially if you anticipate 10+ delegates.
We do not reserve spots for any delegations, but we do wish to help accommodate delegations to the extent possible and understand that sometimes there can be administrative issues. Hence, we ask that you please communicate with us if you wish to send a delegation so we can help out and plan accordingly.
The head delegate or faculty advisor should apply first to start the delegation and then invite the rest of the delegation via the delegation link or a direct invite.
It allows us all to better keep track of your delegation.

We reserve the right to put in restrictions.
Your delegates are not automatically accepted. We go through each application individually and reserve the right to deny any that does not live up to CBSMUN standards.

No, CBSMUN handles all allocations in order to best match our delegates to a committee and country of their level and interest, hence why the individual application is required.
Please let your delegates select their preferences freely.
We offer a large delegation discount of 5€ per delegate to delegations of 10 people or more. Please email us for further information.
The Delegate fee for 2026 has yet to be set.
We do anticipate the price to be higher than in 2025.
The fee must be paid through mymun before you have secured a spot at CBSMUN. This is also a requirement to receive a country allocation.
The fee covers all 4 days of conference activities, incl. ceremonies and attendance to all socials. It also covers conference materials, the goodie bag, coffee/tea, light snacks, and lunch.
It does not cover accommodation and travel expenses.
Refunds are granted as per our terms & conditions within 2 weeks of payment. After February 15th 2026 no refunds are granted due to the proximity to the conference.
To request a refund, please contact our team at info@cbsmun.dk
The delegate fee is paid via mymun after you have applied and we have accepted your application.
The fee must be paid prior to the conference within 2 weeks if you apply and are accepted after Jan. 1, 2026. Prior to that, it is within 4 weeks.
We recommend paying quickly and reserve the right to rescind the application acceptance should the applicant fail to pay within the given time period.
We offer a large delegation discount, see the delegations section above, but do not otherwise offer discounts nor have limited-time offers.
