CPH airport is well-connected with the rest of the world and located just on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
To get to the city, there is the metro station connected to the airport serviced by the M2 line that goes to CBS (Frederiksberg St) and the center of Copenhagen.
It takes around 30 minutes to get from the airport to CBS.
In the middle of Copenhagen there is the Central train station with direct connections to Germany & Sweden. To get to our main venue CBS from there, switch to the metro line M3 going towards Frederiksberg. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get from the Central Station to CBS (Frederiksberg St). To get to the opening ceremony location Flintholm, participants can switch to the S-train lines C, F, or H to go directly there.
Copenhagen has an extensive public transport system with Busses, the S-train, and the metro which is divided into zones. A ticket can be used on all forms of public transport within the purchased zones.
For most participants, a ticket with two zones, zones 1 & 2, will be sufficient as that covers the entirety of central Copenhagen.
To get to or from the airport an additional zone is necessary.
Tickets can be bought at the station or in the app "DOT tickets".
It can be worthwhile to get a small city pass which allows for traveling freely without worries. Passes can span from 1 to 5 days. Find out more here.
Copenhagen is very walkable, so even for our Social on the 2nd day, the Tour de Copenhagen no additional travel besides getting into the city center will be necessary.
