TERMS & CONDITIONS

The are T&C presented when applying on MyMun for CBSMUN 2026 and must be agreed to in order to submit an application.

By submitting an application to CBSMUN you agree to the T&C.

1. Eligibility
   1. 1. By applying to CBSMUN, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the organizers. This includes meeting all the following criteria:
      2. All participants must be between 18 and 27 years of age throughout the duration of the CBSMUN 2026 conference. Under the discretion of the Secretary General and Director General, exceptions are possible for individuals over the age of 27. Such exceptions are assessed on a case-by-case basis. You may apply for one via email at info@cbsmun.dk.
      3. All participants must have graduated high school. No exceptions for this are possible and all applications will be immediately discarded.
      4. All participants must be able to demonstrate the ability to substantially communicate in either a C1 or C2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
      5. Accepting that they are fully expected to read the published Study Guide for their committee prior to attending the conference, as well as uploading a position paper before the deadline set by the Secretariat.
2. Assessment of applications
   1. Each application will be assessed by the relevant members of the organizer team, who are able to accept or reject delegates under their own discretion. The application process is intended to maintain a high standard or academic rigor.
   2. Members of the organizer team are not required to disclose feedback for any rejected application, unless they choose so under their own discretion.
   3. All delegates wishing to attend CBSMUN 2026 will be expected to apply individually, regardless of whether they are attending individually or as a member of a delegation
      1. Intending to attend as a part of an accepted delegation prior to the acceptance of an application does not guarantee the acceptance of an application.
      2. Those who have been rejected as Chairs or Faculty Advisors at CBSMUN 2026 will have their applications as a Delegate or Head Delegate treated as their first
   4. Each individual is only allowed to submit one application to attend CBSMUN. If an application is rejected by the organizers, all subsequent applications submitted by the individual will be automatically discarded.
      1. The organizing team may, under extenuating circumstances, choose to admit a delegate’s application even when they have had a previous application to CBSMUN 2025 rejected. What constitutes an extenuating circumstance is determined entirely under the discretion of the organizers.
3. Accurate Information
   1. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the application process. Any false or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application or disqualification from participating in the CBSMUN conference. This includes the use of artificial intelligence.
4. Code of Conduct
   1. Participants are expected to adhere to a high standard of behaviour and ethics throughout the conference. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior towards fellow delegates, organizers, or any other individuals will not be tolerated. Further code of conduct can be found in the Code of Conduct document.
5. Attendance & Participation
   1. With your application, you agree to participate and attend all committee sessions of CBSMUN 2025.
   2. Please inform either your committee chairs or the organizing team in a timely manner if you are unable to attend a committee session.
   3. Similarly, please inform any member of the Secretariat if you are unable to attend CBSMUN 2026 as a whole so that an adequate replacement can be found within the debate.
   4. Failure to attend can result in no certificate of participation being issued or the barring of attendance for socials or other parts of the conference. More information will be in the delegate handbook and the code of conduct.
6. Payment and Registration
   1. You agree to pay the registration fee associated with your participation in CBSMUN after the approval of your application. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your application.
   2. All delegates with access to a discount code are only able to use one discount code, which is made available to that delegate at the discretion of the Secretariat. The use of multiple discount codes, including discount codes intended for other delegates, will waive that delegate's ability to use any discounts and they will be required to pay the full delegate fee.
   3. Before the 1st of January 2026, the payment shall be made within 28 calendar days of the acceptance of your application. After the 1st of January 2026, this duration is reduced to 14 calendar days after your acceptance, after which CBSMUN reserves the right to cancel your application despite initial acceptance.
   4. The registration for the conference covers the administrative costs associated with the conference as well as coffee breaks provided during the 4 days of the conference. Social events, lunches and other meals may be covered, full coverage will be announced in a timely manner.
      1. Additional expenses are to be expected by delegations for their accommodation during the stay in Copenhagen and other related expenses.
         
7. Cancellation and Refunds
   1. In the event of cancellation of the application, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants within the 14-calendar-day refund period, excluding MyMUN transaction fees.
   2. You are eligible for a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial payment, excluding MyMUN transaction fees. To be eligible for a refund, you must make the request within the specified 14-day period.
   3. Before the 1st of February 2026, all participants are eligible for a 50% refund excluding MyMUN transaction fees, even beyond their 14 days of initial registration. After the 1st of February 2026, we do not offer any refunds.
   4. After the 15th of February 2026, no refunds of any kind are accepted and the 14 day refund policy is waived due to the close proximity to the conference.
   5. Exceptions in special circumstances are possible under the discretion of the Secretariat. However, you are not entitled to it and any ruling by the Secretariat for refunds in line with these terms is final.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
   1. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the GDPR regulations. By applying, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data for the purpose of organizing and conducting the CBSMUN.
   2. You agree to pictures being taken at the event as well as their use for marketing purposes.

By submitting your application to participate in CBSMUN 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
